Executive Coaching for International Business People

Why walk the path alone?

Coaching is a series of catalytic conversations that take the client from where they are, in work or life, to where they really want to be.

Why do I need a coach?

In short – You don’t!! Nobody needs a coach. You can go for a walk on your own. You can have lunch on your own. You can play golf on your own. You can work on your own. Having a coach means not going alone – but having a partner who supports you, challenges you, motivates you and believes in you.

Do you ever have that feeling that you are hanging-on, being dragged by work and life this way and that? Having a coach gives you time and space to reflect on where you are going, why & how. Having someone removed from your normal life (and trained) allows you to reflect on what is really happening and not what is supposed to be or should be.

When do I use a coach?

Coaching works best when there is a desire to improve, make an impression or get energy to do something. Some start when the just don't want to be where they are (metaphorically or physically) and don't know where to start.

Examples include: starting a new job; improving a current job (to get a promotion); considering career moves; setting team/company goals; dealing with team issues.

The Truth About Coaching

Coaching is completely unregulated by Governments. There are several self-governing organisations that are setting standards for training and experience. The biggest of these is the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF is the largest not-for-profit professional association worldwide of personal and business coaches with more than 10,000 members in 80 countries and over 144 chapters in 39 countries worldwide. ICF was founded in 1995.
